I am beginning to get hopeless as it started to rain that afternoon when we reached the campsite of Mt. Pulag. After an hour or two, the rain stopped but the clouds remained. As I lay inside my bivvy, I kept on looking forward to a clear sky. Without any second thought, I set my alarm at 1am staying positive that that cloudy night sky too, shall pass. Upon waking up, I was surprised to see the brightest galactic core I’ve seen so far!
